The Six-Month Cooking Short Course at Government College of Technology (GCT) Taxila is a focused vocational program designed to equip learners with essential culinary skills and professional kitchen practices. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including Food Preparation Techniques, Baking and Pastry Basics, International and Local Cuisine, Nutrition Fundamentals, and Kitchen Hygiene & Safety. Practical training takes place in a fully equipped training kitchen, where students work with modern cooking appliances and learn plating, presentation, and time management skills essential for the hospitality industry. By the end of the course, participants are capable of preparing diverse menus and managing small-scale food operations.
